Ezra Martin-Rosenthal is an LA-Based Drummer and Producer originally from Takoma Park, Maryland. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, where he was mentored by Billy Kilson, Ezra holds a degree in Electronic Production and Design.
Ezra started drumming at the age of 9 after being captivated by a group of bucket drummers in DC and knowing he needed to try for himself. Today, he is a regularly performing and recording player, contributing his talents to many musical ventures. Ezra is a sought after teacher, not only for his technical facility, but also for his keen ability to connect with students of all levels and foster inspiration and love of playing. When not performing or teaching, Ezra runs the recurring Jam session Nature Jamz, highlighting artists in outdoor spaces across Los Angeles. He is co-founder of Dustbowl LA, a DIY music venue in DTLA, and a founding member of The Mary Orji Visionaries Collective, a Nigerian Spiritual Jazz ensemble. Ezra enjoys a vast array of musical styles, ranging from Hip Hop to Rock to Funk to Pop and beyond and seeks to inspire his fellow musicians and his students as much as he is inspired by them!
